The world’s largest three-day mountain bike stage race, the KAP sani2c, is set to be the highlight of a COVID-19 stricken 2020 race calendar, as South Africa’s best marathon mountain bikers battle it out for the title. The tough 265kms of racing between Underberg and Scottburgh in KwaZulu-Natal takes place next week from 3-5 December, on a smaller scale to comply with COVID-19 regulations.

A very different and exciting KAP sani2c is set to take place from 2-5 December 2020 (The Adventure is from 2-4 December, and the Race is 3-5 December), with a smaller field and no longer a Trail version of the event. The elite race will provide the usual high level of competition, with SA’s top teams confirming their entries.
In the light of recent developments relating to the Coronavirus pandemic, the organisers of KAP sani2c, the three-day mountain bike stage race in KwaZulu-Natal due to be held from 12-16 May, have made the decision to postpone the event to December.
KAP sani2c organisers are this year making available a limited number of “Super Seconds” packages, for dedicated supporters wanting to be a part of the special vibe that is the sani2c race village. For many years, the sani2c race villages have been out of bounds for supporters for logistical and practical reasons.
