The safety of our landowners and the communities we pass through remains our top priority. We are working closely with all landowners and key stakeholders to manage the Foot and Mouth Disease situation responsibly and with care.
For those unfamiliar, Foot and Mouth Disease is a highly contagious viral disease that affects cloven-hoofed animals such as cattle, sheep and goats. While it does not pose a risk to riders, careful management and biosecurity measures are essential to protect livestock and prevent its spread.
Despite these challenges, our focus remains firmly on delivering another unforgettable KAP sani2c. We are ready to welcome you - so keep training, keep the excitement building, and we’ll see you on the start line in May.
As an event that supports many organisations and schools, we are committed to doing everything possible to ensure the show goes on. As commercial dairy farmers ourselves, we understand the disease, the risks involved, and the practical measures required to prevent its spread. We are also fortunate to have several alternative route options available, allowing us to avoid livestock areas - and with these adjustments comes new energy, fresh trails, and a bit of added adventure.
