Tourism Prize, Job Creation, 2019 Focus & Payment Plans

Dear 2018 riders,

Three months ago you were in "sani2c country" enjoying the beauty and diversity of Kwa-Zulu Natal. We are already hard at work looking at ways to make KAP sani2c 2019 even better, and we value your opinion.

Prize on offer:

You could win a two nights stay for two at any Premier Hotel across South Africa by assisting us in completing this survey (it takes less than 5 minutes):

Premier Resort Sani Pass or The Himeville Arms are conveniently situated near Glencairn Farm, and Premier Resort Cutty Sark is a comfortable place to spend the night in Scottburgh after three days in the saddle!

One of our aims at sani2c is to promote employment through tourism and conservation of this area for the benefit of its people and the event, so together with KZN Tourism we have included questions about your travel and accommodation during KAP sani2c 2018 to better understand the impact and potential that the KAP sani2c brings to tourism in the area.

2019 focused:

For 2019 every community, every mom, dad, boy and girl will focus on upping their individual game. We are all focused on improving and innovating whether it is organizing car shuttles, setting up tents or preparing the route. No one is exempt because we know how important it is to the future of our communities.

New Routes:

As always the route is king so we have been on the ground this winter scouting new options, specifically on Day 2 & 3. Day 2 has a change in store directly after the first water table and another option for Iconic. Day 3 looks good for a big change for the final 20km!

‘n Boer maak ‘n Plan Payment Plan:

I know things are tight, try being a dairy farmer at less than 5 ZAR / liter. Trust me I know, so we have made a plan. On Monday we will release our payment plan and these details will be sent to you. Please also take note that we need your entry commitment (paid or unpaid) before the end of August to secure your clothing size.

Many thanks to those that have re-entered; we value the support you give us as we know how much it means in sani country.

The feedlot must close now that another winter is over so go get on that bike before summer rolls in!

Till the next news, happy riding

Farmer Glen, Tamika and the crew.
